Sasha was born on time and immediately went to the intensive care unit with severe asphyxia, hypoxia and pneumonia. Sasha was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 6 months. It was a real shock. My daughter and I spent the first year of our life in hospitals without leaving. At the age of three, Sasha went to a specialized kindergarten, I went to work, because there was catastrophically not enough money for treatment. Now Alexandra is 8 years old, she still has not learned to walk independently, she sits and moves on all fours "like a frog", she stands only with a support against the wall. Only recently, thanks to long classes with a speech therapist, Sasha began to pronounce vowel letters and some syllables. It is very important for Sasha to continue progressing, but we cannot cope with our own efforts.
